Digital MarketingWe live in a fast forward world where very few people listen until they actually want something.

The volume of marketing messages delivered to us is huge and this makes the marketing space very complicated to see, absorb, and leverage. It’s like looking for the proverbial needle in the haystack but bigger. We only think about looking for the needle when we need to darn our socks and when that time comes we type “where is the needle” into Google!

The trouble with this is that there are many businesses trying to sell needles, so in order to be found online and sell lots of needles you need to have lots of fresh, new original content, and today that means content on your website, blog and lots of social media and social network activity which drives the needle salespersons ranking in the Search Engine Returns Pages (SERPS).

Future Marketing Value

We live in an age where a single tweet or blog post can reach #No1 on Google within an hour or less of posting, so constant new content is important – in “the Way of the Web” as it is today.

What I mean by Future Marketing Value is that all the content you add to the web is aggregated to give you or your business authority in what you do or sell, so if you write the most frequent and best content about needles today and every day, and then converse daily with potential customers in the social networks then the chances are that when the consumer asks Google to recommend a needle sales person tomorrow, you will be high on their SERPS list… Make sense?
